About Me

My name is Morgan. I am a graduate Technical Communication student at University of North Texas. I worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant for Dr. Jordan Smith in the Technical Communication Department at UNT, assisting with language research and technical editing courses. I also worked as a Teaching Fellow, where I taught four sections of TECM 2700: Technical Writing. I will graduate with my Master of Arts in Professional and Technical Communication in December 2022.
I have a Bachelor’s Degree in English with a Concentration in Teaching from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. I was an intern in the Texas Tech English Department when I first discovered my interest in Tech Comm. I was fortunate to work with MA and PhD students studying Tech Comm. When I saw the fascinating work they were doing, it encouraged me to follow the same path.
In my free time, I love spending time with my family and exploring the Pacific Northwest! I love to travel and experience the outdoors as often as possible. I am increasingly becoming interested in health and nutrition, and I love trying new recipes and discovering new foods.
